Dan Organ, the Taxman, the Farmboy, the Good Guy!
My roots are in Cumberland, WI……specifically on the family farm near Silver Lake. I graduated from Cumberland High School and also from Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, WI.
My first job was managing apartments in Chicago, and that is where I was first exposed to tax returns. We moved back to Rice Lake and I purchased Drake Tax Service in 1993. There were not enough tax returns in those early years to make ends meet, so I quickly learned about pouring concrete, building pole buildings, and I also learned to landscape. I still operate a small landscape company to this day.
Drake Tax Service has grown over the years and is now offering services to over 1200 friends. We prepare most tax returns, we offer payroll services, we offer consulting and we drink a lot of coffee!
Our office is open year around and we have always prided ourselves on our ability to return calls as promptly as possible.
My hobbies include family and my dog, Cash. I am an avid pheasant hunter, deer hunter, fisherman, actor and I also love being the captain of our pontoon. I am proud to be called Grandpa and I look forward to spending time with my Grands and my family in the years to come.
Sara, Farm Girl, Bookkeeping & Payroll Wizard
I was born and raised in Rice Lake, WI. A farm girl who knows the meaning of hardwork and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. I enjoy spending time with my husband, our children and grandson. I love to travel, ride my bike, run and spend time on our pontoon with our family and friends.
Debbie Malek, the Administrative Assistant
I live in Barron with my husband, Joe, and my Shorkie named Sadie. I worked in this field for Barron County Health & Human Services Habitat for Humanity, as well as other businesses. I enjoy flower gardening and going to classic rock concerts. I look forward to meeting the clients of Drake Tax Service!
